JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible to lead and direct the HSOne Financial operations teams, including billing, order processing, AR/Credit and Collections, provisioning, business analytics, etc. Lead and/or participate on numerous cross-functional teams to operationalize product SKU/billing/pricing changes/product bundles, etc. as they arise. Participate as a business partner with division and company management and department heads in driving financial operational readiness and execution. Automate and optimize processes to ensure most efficient use of assets. Maintain a high level of customer and TSM visibility

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: *

  • Direct the design and development of activities performed by the Financial Operations teams (Billing, Credit/Collections, AR, business analytics, order processing, eServices registrations (provisioning), etc.)

  • Responsible for continuing to implement operationally effective and efficient process and controls including ensuring all HSOne orders and registrations are processed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Lead, develop and retain a team of 30 Team Schein Members at the HSOne worldwide headquarters (American Fork, UT), across the functional financial operational teams

  • Develop and execute on a plan to transition all HSOne billings to American Fork

  • Lead/participate in various cross functional teams as it relates to integrating new product lines, price changes, bundle products and all other changes

  • Partner with our product management team on Financial Operations matters related to integrations and changes impacting the business, and partner to resolve issues/concerns until they are fully resolved

  • Negotiate and agree to terms with vendors that provide services to the Financial Operations teams

  • Develop, then maintain responsibility and accountability for achieving Financial Operations expense budgets

  • Develop and maintain responsibility and accountability for achieving the company’s working capital metrics, specifically AR balances, and DSO metrics.

  • Ensure testing and documentation for applicable Sarbanes Oxley efforts are completed

  • Oversee SalesForce.com (SFDC) implementation as it relates to Finance Operations, including billing, automation, provisioning, reporting, etc.; design and execute on longer term SFDC financial operations roadmap ensuring further automation and optimization

  • Track open projects, report on current status and drive completion of projects in accordance with priorities for the group

  • Establish key metrics and KPI to evaluate effectiveness, accuracy and timeliness of all HSOne orders; drive process, automation tools and reporting changes.

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required

*MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: *

Typically 12 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 5 or more years of management experience.

*PREFERRED EDUCATION: *

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

*SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: *

  • A minimum of 10 or more years of experience in an accounting/finance role or the equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of management experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members at various levels within the organization.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers (internal and external) and vendors.

  • Advanced Excel skills. Good working knowledge of other typical applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience in SalesForce.com including reporting. Previous experience in Great Plains ERP system desired

  • Software industry experience a plus (including SaaS based billings)

  • Proven ability to mentor and create high performing teams; detail oriented

  • Deep financial understating on financial systems and P&L impacts

  • Able to handle tight timelines and pressure to complete tasks in a timely and professional manner

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills a must; ability to interact with executives at the highest levels

  • Ability to prioritize and get the job done by executing on solutions a must
