Oracle Cloud Go to Market Strategy Analyst in Lehi, Utah

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 8 plus years relevant work experience.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Job Description

As a member of the North America Cloud & Tech team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for the analysis of our GTM strategy and providing insights as well as recommendations back to the sales leadership. The successful candidate should be a strong problem solver, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate exceptional organization and multitasking abilities. We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, has an eye for identifying issues, and has a passion for ensuring our GTM strategy is a success.

Responsibilities

The Business Analyst in this role will support the following activities, along with ad hoc projects as necessary:

  • Provide analysis to sales management across a set of KPIs

  • Collaborate with Sales, Strategy and Business Development teams to identify areas of risk and opportunity

  • Proactively identify trends; suggest resource allocation or other adjustment to address/capitalize on these trends.

  • Create executive presentations to convey the state of the business and present challenges and solutions

  • Work with the reporting teams to standardize metrics & definitions.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience supporting sales in a Finance, Sales Operations, or Data Analysis role

  • Must come from a technology companyand cloud experience is a plus

  • Must have 3 plus years of creating the GTM Strategy in a sales organization

  • 5 plus years of experience creating KPI’s

  • 7 plus years of creating presentations for executive level audiences

  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of the external/competitive landscape

  • Comfortable with large amounts of data and being able to source and interpret data sets

  • Proven track record with data visualization and analysis including dashboard reporting

  • High level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong attention to detail with quality and accuracy in data being a top priority.

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels

  • Experience with OAC a plus
