Oracle Hospitality Consulting | Food and Beverage Implementation Manager in Lehi, Utah

Responsible for supervising a team of Implementation Consultants and/or Consulting Implementation Managers, ensuring quality work at customer sites. Has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or industry technology products. Monitors Implementation Consultant and/or Consulting Implementation Managers activities and performance on projects. May serve as project advisor for more complex engagements

Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. May participate in sales proposals in a pre-sales capacity. May assist with end-user training and take the establishment live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Provides coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Typically leads both managers and Individual Contributors for a territory/region. Develops and executes strategic regional plans with guidance from the Area Manager or Director. Demonstrates multiple business processes expertise within one product family. Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements.

Four year degree preferred and 5 7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years implementation consulting experience preferred. Deep knowledge of Implementation Consultant role. Product or technical expertise relevant to area of focus. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to relate to customers and understand their needs. Ability to build rapport with team members. Ability to travel as needed.

As an Oracle Hospitality Food and Beverage Implementation Manager you will have 3 years of professional work experience as a Manager in the Hospitality Industry with client facing skills. Specifically, having experience as a Project Manager with IT knowledge is a plus.



Job Description

  • Manages Oracle POS Consulting associates as part of the team that delivers Oracle F&B products for clients in the Hospitality industry

  • Manages select shared services internally within the consulting organization. This includes managing resources, managing the consulting order estimate process, and other business operations processes as needed.

  • Works with Consulting Sales to act as, or provide, a subject matter expert for conducting reviews on process and estimates.

  • Reviews Food & Beverage Global Business Unit Consulting projects to evaluate scope during the course of, and after, project closure

  • Works collaboratively with sales and other managers to review and adjust project scope where necessary to ensure adherence to established change management process

  • May be required to own, manage and deliver internal projects using Oracle tools such as Apex and PFM ensuring alignment to project budgets

  • Manages team productivity and performance, providing weekly/monthly schedule reporting to leadership.

  • Manages customer escalations as required

  • Ensures risks and issues are being managed and mitigated during implementation planning and execution phases, aligns decisions to Oracle s risk profile

  • Provides direction and support to the implementation team and review required deliverables

Job Requirements

  • Manage consulting shared services process and associates for North American Consulting Food and Beverage Global Business Unit(FBGBU)

  • Ability to plan and manage major or large scale and complex system projects through all phases of the project life cycle

  • Proven business acumen; strategic thinking, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills

  • Proven ability to present and meet with C level customers

  • Able to address personnel issues with confidence

  • Proven ability to deliver results in an environment where resources are shared across multiple competing groups


  • Hospitality industry experience in a management capacity

  • 5 years of professional experience as a Manager in a client / customer facing role

  • Oracle POS (MICROS 3700/8700/9700/e7/FE/Simphony) and Cloud experience desired

  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience

  • People Management Skills highly desired

  • Highly organized with excellent time management

  • Deadline driven, results oriented

  • Able to prioritize multiple requests and action accordingly
