Oracle Senior PMS Implementation Consultant in Lehi, Utah

Senior-level implementation professional who performs high-profile, complex, or very large implementations.

Analyze business needs and provide recommendations on how to program the product hierarchy to address the customer s specifications. Write custom reports and exports, and make modifications to the solution to meet customer's needs. Assist with end-user training and take the hotel live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Mentor and develop lower level Implementation Consultants. May assist in a presales capacity to help drive sale.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to area of focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Job Description

Senior level Implementation Consultant who analyzescustomer needs, configures the solution, and installs the product at thecustomer site. Our Implementation Consultants ensure that our PMS solutionsmeet all of the specifications and functions that are unique to each of ourHospitality clients. Implementation Consultants resolve any gaps in Productfunctionality and train our clients how to use the new product. They are alsoresponsible for taking the client live on the system after everything hasbeen configured and everyone is trained. Implementation Consultants areaccountable for ensuring a smooth transition and positive user experience. Theyare available to answer operational and application questions during theimplementation process and after "go-live". They are subject matterexperts in all OPERA products and this role will include mentoring our internalteam. Job Requirements

This role requires 5-7 years of overall experience in anapplicable role as an IT or PMS Deployment Engineer or as an experienced userof the Opera Property Management or similar products. Candidates must have theability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members andclients. The ability to travel as needed which can include weekends andholidays is a must. Candidates can be based anywhere in the Continental USclose to a large, metropolitan airport. Training in the Opera Products will beprovided at our Columbia, Maryland location.

Preference is given to individuals which have the belowskills and knowledge:

  • 2 years or more experience working in the Hospitality Industry (Hotels and Restaurants)

  • Experience as user of PMS Systems helpful, with preferred Opera Property management usage

  • Training and/or IT experience preferred

  • Technical experience as it relates to installing Hardware and troubleshooting that Hardware

  • Knowledge of Cloud based software systems
