The Salomon Ecommerce Manager will work in a stimulating environment with a focus on digital acceleration. The ideal candidate will lead Salomon’s most important media and accelerate the online D2C business in a changing digital landscape. This person will manage all aspects of Salomon Ecommerce in the Americas. This includes: merchandising, inventory management, finance, marketing, CRM, website optimization, customer service, warehousing, and reporting. Responsible for achieving all relevant ecommerce KPIs. This position reports directly to the Salomon Head of Ecommerce in Annecy, France, with dotted line reporting to the Regional Ecommerce Business & Operations Manager in Ogden, UT.

LEAD ALL NORTH AMERICAN SALOMON ECOMMERCE COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS: Define and execute ecommerce commercial plan and execute across North America. Monitor the delivery and results.
MERCHANDISING: Align marketing activities and product launches. Lead & execute global and local ecommerce campaigns. Ensure pricing, display, navigation, stock, and shopping cart are ready to sell the product. Make sure that all ecommerce related activities respect brand image and commercial guidelines.
MARKETING: Optimize and coordinate ecommerce marketing activities in both U.S. and Canada working with our digital agency, local marketing and commercial managers, and Salomon’s global marketing team. Work with a creative team (briefs) to obtain assets for SEM, PLAs, display ads, remarketing, affiliates, and CRM campaigns. Monitor and optimize ROAS, working closely with the Traffic Manager.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Work closely with the local and global D2C merchandising team to define ecommerce ranges & specific needs. Maintain stock for in-season goods within the targeted supply parameters working with the local and global supply team and the warehouse. Work ahead of time to ensure the best inventory for product launches.
FINANCE: Establish financial forecasts that project expectations for the business. Maintain visibility on revenue and expenses and strive to achieve/exceed the financial plan.
WEBSITE OPTIMIZATION: Measure and evaluate the key paths and pages on the North American websites. Plan, organize, and prioritize needed changes with the Salomon Global team and assist in managing the projects that will incorporate these changes. Launch North American A/B tests in consistency with the global roadmap.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Ensure our customers are treated with the highest level of customer service and establish guidelines for our help desk that empower them to take care of each customer. Maintain visibility on direct feedback from customers and establish change that will make their experience better.
REPORTING: Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms to manage these metrics and drive profitable growth in each area of the business: traffic, AOV, conversion, return rate, database acquisition, reviews, NPS.
7+ years work experience in ecommerce or digital
Advanced skills and experienced insight into online merchandis¬ing, marketing, and inventory management
Knowledge of omni-channel marketing and commercial strategies
Experience optimizing key metrics around web analytics (traffic, conversion, AOV, etc.) utilizing web analytics tools; solid understanding of user funnels, which KPIs matter, and how to impact them
Strong understanding of Digital Marketing and CRM
Previous experience with A/B testing and/or personalization tools
Supply chain, logistics, and pricing familiarity
Experience developing digital marketing campaigns & promotional calendars
Financial acumen: ability to understand and influence key business financial measures
Experience working in a global matrix organization is preferred
Passion for outdoor activities is preferred
