Capstone Nutrition Planning Analyst in Ogden, Utah

Overview: Responsible for creating and maintaining work orders for system accuracy. Responsible for running daily reports and identifying and solving issues relating to the performance of the business operations.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating work orders to compliment sales orders
Maintaining work order dates to ensure system accuracy. This includes sales push/pull forward requests, purchasing push requests, batch down requests, quantity changes, etc.
Run, update, and send out daily reports
Learn the Planning role to be a backup when one of the Planners is out
Review and analyze daily reports to identify discrepancies and opportunities
Work with teams to improve workflow and reduce waste
Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested
Recommend and update policies and procedures to improve performance
Additional duties as needed
BA/BS degree preferred
1-3 years of previous industry experience, particularly as an analyst preferred
Highly organized and flexible with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Advanced Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
APICS and JD Edwards experience preferred.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to interact with employees at all levels within the organization while demonstrating professionalism and diplomacy.
Strong business acumen.
Ability to sit in front of a computer for many hours a day.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
Subject to normal warehouse and production environment
Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection is required
Subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes from the machines, fumes, odors, powders, dust and other particles.
