Oracle Product Strategy Manager in Ogden, Utah
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
Colorado Pay Range: From $99,333 to $178,795 per annum

The Industry Strategy Manager position is in the Advanced Industries Strategy team as part of the Oracle ERP Product development organization. It is a growing, dynamic organization that plays a crucial role in innovating and delivering Oracle ERP applications to market. The position’s primary focus is on ERP products that span across Financials, Planning, Projects, Procurement, Supply Chain and Manufacturing along with the supporting application technologies.
The Advanced Industry Strategy team is chartered with scaling market share within industries that align with overall strategic product direction. As part of this the team performs industry ranking, product fit analysis, partner business development, and customer success cultivation. In addition, the team collaborates regularly with product strategy, sales, marketing and the industry solutions group. Externally the team works with SI and ISV partners to extend reach into the market and customers to build strong relationships.

_Role & Responsibilities:_
The Oracle ERP product development team is seeking a strong Product Strategy Manager to focus on articulating the vision for the Oracle Fusion Cloud products, specifically Financials Cloud and Project Management Cloud. We need an individual who has a customer first approachto ensure great customer outcomes and to enable successful adoption of Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud products. This individual will align initiatives across product development, engage with sales and marketing for go to market activities, and build industry roadmaps in collaboration with product development.Candidates should possess strong Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud and Project Management Cloud skills and have a good sense for industry trends in these areas.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Perform industry analysis across a wide variety of markets with a focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Project management products.
Quickly come up to speed on new industries and articulate industry trends, challenges, competitive landscape, and solution footprint that drives industry roadmaps.
Work with other subject matter experts to determine product fit for an industry
Create messaging, collateral, and other materials required for, customer adoption, sales enablement, partner collaboration and go to market.
Provide input into product assessment and build roadmaps through industry and competitive analysis, partner/customer/sales input, and technology trends.
Collaborate and work with inter-departmental Oracle teams, customers and business partners across the globe to understand and support Oracle eco system.
Create and deliver presentations via webinars and in person sessions at Oracle conferences.
Work effectively and cooperatively with the senior leadership team, across borders, and internal matrix. Partner with the other members of leadership team, to define and drive substantial parts of the customer experience.
Formulate how the roadmap will help in retaining existing customers, acquiring new customers and deepening market penetration by articulating the value proposition.
10 years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product development or related area.
Minimum 3 years of experience withOracle Fusion Cloud Financials and/or Project management products.
ERP product knowledge across a wide range of business processes, such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report.
Strategic thinker who can see the big picture but can still execute on detailed plans and get things done.
Industry go to market experience particularly with performing market analysis, identifying industry requirements, developing messaging and value propositions, and sales enablement.
Demonstrated abilities to be a liaison between Product Management, Customer and Management teams to understand customer business processes and map it back to Oracle ERP products.
Creative in solutioning customer problems/requirements and be able to translate them for other stakeholders.
High energy, positive mindset, results-oriented, and looking to make a big impact
Desire to work in a cross-functional, distributed team environment and open to a wide variety of challenges spanning across various functions.
Strong understanding of the overall IT market, SaaS/Cloud trends and implications.
Demonstrated broad understanding of Oracle technologies including Machine Learning, Blockchain, IoT, Analytics, and Digital Assistants.
Ability to communicate effectively across different audiences from executive levels to engineers and end users.
Excellent communication, presentation and knowledge sharing skills, along with content creation experience.
BS/BE/BTech or Masters degree preferred.

Experience in a customer facing role such as product manager, customer success manager, sales or consulting with Oracle ERP products
Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, E&C, Natural resources, Utilities, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Medical Device, or Professional Services.
