THE ROLE

As a Sales and Install Operations Business Analyst your primary role is to support team functions through thoughtful business partner engagement, data visualization, analytics, and reporting. The primary functions of this organization are Account Management, Customer Onboarding, Retention, and Workforce Management (WFM).

This analyst is responsible for maintaining current dashboards and reports as well as to create new solutions and offer valuable insights, directly supporting senior leadership in a timely manner. Specific WFM functions include forecasting contact center demand and implementing schedules for Vivint’s operational resources with existing and new staff.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

  • Prepare analytic results in PowerPoint for executive level presentations, speaking to results as needed

  • Use SQL to create stored procedures for pulling recurring reports

  • Write new queries to fulfil ad hoc data requests

  • Publish stored procedures as Tableau data sources and dashboards, including real time performance reports

  • Hold weekly meetings with management to review performance, observed insights, and ensure needs are being met

  • Call center staffing continuous improvement, including making recommendations to improve scheduling efficiency and rep experience

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Effective at collaborating with other employees

  • Highly productive with minimal supervision

  • Adaptable to new roles and responsibilities

  • Great verbal and written communication skills, especially explaining technical data to non-technical employees

  • Advanced computer competencies

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, ThinkCell, and Salesforce

  • Intermediate SQL skills

  • Experience with WFM software such as IEX

  • Experience with dialer software such as Five9 (preferred), Avaya, etc.

  • Able to perform well under pressure

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Ability to own a project to completion

  • Provide excellent customer service with timely, accurate, and courteous responses

  • An understanding of contact center operations

  • Tableau experience (preferred)

  • Contributes to team culture of positivism, ownership, development, and initiative
