The Role:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Serve as Finance and Analytics leader, advisor and “hands-on” business partner to the Senior VP of Customer Excellence.
Support business growth through all sales channels and ensure our operations are scaling appropriately through sound financial analysis and analytics reporting/forecasting.
Help make the Customer Excellence team a profit center by increasing sales to the existing customer base without compromising service levels and cost.
Lead preparation of the annual financial budget and financial forecasts (as necessary) for the Customer Excellence team.
Lead the analysis and discussion of the period performance and trends and help drive the organization to find ways to hit or improve on targets.
Help define the right operational measures that can be tracked and improved and can directly improve the performance of key stakeholders and improve the financial performance of the Company.
Lead top-notch analysis to identify key trends or potential opportunities to drive improvement.
Lead special financial and business-related analysis and work with other departments in preparing analyses.
Help define, build, and monitor the operational reporting analytics suite – includes reporting for senior leaders down to the scorecards used to coach front-line service agents.
Lead the analytics prioritization and strategy with the operations partners to ensure the organization is getting the greatest return on the analytics resource investments.
Required Skills:
Strong team player with a detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modeling
Advanced business case analytic skills
Executive-level presentation and PowerPoint skills
Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial and operational data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
Ability to organize and analyze large datasets
Ability to define what operational and financial reporting is required to improve business outcomes
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong team leadership and coaching skills
Required Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in operational finance or analytics with increasing responsibilities of leadership
CMA/ MBA / CPA Preferred
Good understanding of GAAP and financial statements
Good understanding of analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Data structures)

We are looking for top-notch Finance & Analytics professionals to join Vivint and help lead the next exciting phase of the Company’s transformation and growth. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, Operations, this Sr Director of Finance & Analytics will be responsible for partnering with the Senior Vice President and the rest of the Customer Excellence team to help scale the organization for growth while maintaining high service levels and operating efficiencies. We expect this role to include the management of direct reports.
