Make a Difference.Overview of PositionThe Business Solutions Analyst will be responsible for Legacy System utility set-up and maintenance, user training and support, interface development-support, interface mapping-research, claims-ERA processing issues related to carriers and-or Relay Health processes. The Business Solutions Analyst will also identify, evaluate, and develop system procedures which are cost effective and meet business requirements.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?* Perform complex system research in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by Operations* Perform complex base utility entry and maintenance as well as interface utility mapping to update claims and billing processing codes and data integrity check-review* Analyze new client, billing data and files to identify potential problems or issues* Monitor interfaces-hospital files as well as claims filed for internal customer to determine accuracy of content and claims acceptance* Works with MDIV Programmers or facility (hospital-client) staff to provide detailed information (on interfaces-hospital files) and provides recommendation for correction* Test and performs QA activities on complex system settings-changesWhat are the requirements needed for this position?* High school diploma or higher* Experience in billing or analytical support within a medical billing office* Knowledge of data file formats such as .hl7, .txt., or .csv* Ability to work with large amounts of data, including checks for integrity and summation* Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and WordWhat other skills-experience would be helpful to have?* Experience and knowledge with interface engines* Ability to read specifications and analyze data files and formatWhat are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?General office demandsJoin our team today where we are creating a better coordinated, increasingly collaborative, and more efficient healthcare system!Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action StatementChange Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer.
