MedicareProduct Innovation Director

Responsible for providing product design, support and guidance to the Regional President to promote profitable Medicare Advantage membership growth, working with the Regional Medicare President and their teams to design MA plans and benefits for the applicable region. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

Serve as the primary Product Development contact for Regional Medicare Presidents & their teams. Serve as the Product Development subject matter expert for the assigned Region. Coordinate and facilitate product innovation, development and bid submission activities with the Region. Attend and facilitate appropriate Regional President meeting’s to ensure Product requirements and deliverables are achieved on-time and in a collaborative manner. Coordinate product development proposals and implementation of regional product strategies. Work with Product Development Support team to identify best practices. Develop a 3 to 5 year product strategy and plan. Ensure appropriate monitoring and updating of product strategy and plan. Collaborates and coordinates work with peers, other departments within Medicare and matrix/ shared service partners (including but not limited to Finance, Actuarial, IT, and HCM).

Requires a BA/BS degree; 7-10 years of product management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas required: Product Development, Market Strategy, Market Research or Risk Management. MBA preferred.
