Thermo Fisher Scientific Product Manager- Single Use Technology in Salt Lake City, Utah
Product Manager to join our team at our Logan, UT location. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, analytical, disciplined, agile, and team oriented. Would also be results and proactive solution driven, along with having the ability to think critically to overcome potential business hurdles to complete tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Product change management and communications
Provide input to the business unit strategic plan
Identifies and / or reviews new product concepts
Understand market needs and trends
Analyze market, competition
Product life cycle management from inception to obsolescence
Responsible for product line revenue and margin performance
Work cross-functionally on all product-related matters
Also responsible for:
Pricing
Product initiatives
Commercial and customer support
Technical support
Develop and conduct comprehensive product training
Field communications
Opportunity management
Marketing plan
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of a BS/BA is required
2-4 years experience including responsibility in related marketing/product management experience in life science related field; single use highly preferref
Experience managing product lines
Strong communication skills
Require up to 20% travel including international
Ability to work in a multinational/multicultural environment
Strong analytical skills
Strong technical capabilities consistent with market segment
Experience with strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis of business situations, competitive profiles and pricing analysis
Demonstrated experience with working with customers and commercial teams
