Myriad Genetics, Inc. Revenue Analyst in Salt Lake City, Utah
We are looking for someone with experience in financial and business analytics who is interested in developing knowledge in revenue recognition and is ready to further develop. You will work in close partnership with highly talented colleagues across organization and consult on planning, reporting, and analytics for decision support.
The revenue analyst will assist in the sales and operations planning and revenue recognition processes. This function will be instrumental in supporting the analytical requirements of the company by analyzing revenue trends within the business and ensuring alignment with business-unit and corporate-wide objectives. The position will also provide support in the month end close process to facilitate timely financial reporting and analysis.
Other skill requirements are as follows:
Analyze current and past data trends
Experience with CPM/BI tools
Fundamental understanding of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition rules
BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2-4 years of relevant experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience with Xifin and/or Qlikview software a plus.
High standards for accuracy, organization, and flexibility.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with team in hands on development capacity.
