UG Metals Operations Manager (Dyno Nobel, Inc., Salt Lake City, UT) Identify and develop marketing strategy for Dyno Nobel's underground (UG) explosives segment and underground (UG) metals sub-segment. Define and quantify value propositions, technical approaches, and apply critical knowledge of the UG mining environment to support the sales growth and profitability. Responsible for UG metals gross margin and for reporting on segment performance. Manage underground operations team and the offering of its services. Lead ideation teams with research and development (RandD) and other groups and promote idea generation. Provide recommendations for product line and offering improvements from field visits, sales and customer interfaces. Support UG growth in all sub-segments through trial and project conception, organization and execution. Manage the technical, operational and commercial aspects of the Ops Team deployment and trials. Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. (Job Code: 8215). Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Geoscience, Mining Engineering, or a related field plus 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience working in a marketing role in the explosives and mining industry. Of the required experience must have 5 years' experience in each of the following: * Developing strategies for the marketing and sale of underground explosives products and systems; * Determining underground explosives product applications; * Experience working with underground explosives product characteristics, applications and mining methods; * Developing, training and managing sales teams; and * Providing technical training to sales personnel on topics including: underground explosives products and equipment, marketing strategies, client relationship building and maintenance, proposal design and delivery. Must also have 2 years' experience in using SAP to generate financial reports on product lines, including product volumes, revenue, and/or customer specifications. Must have willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time domestically and 20% of the time internationally to meet business needs. TO APPLY : Please email resume to referencing job code 8215.
